Do you get credits for Powerplay?

Hi all,

I still haven't got around to trying PP yet. I remember the last release notes said they were introducing credit rewards for participation. How does this work and how long do you need to play to get any credits?

You get a weekly pay packet dependent on your Rating.
The most being Rating 5 which is 50 Million a week.

You do earn credits, but its more of a token pay. If credits are all you want, bounty hunting and trading will earn you much more.
The way I look at PP, just go about your normal business doing whatever you normally did, but when you can do something to help out your Power. Don't feel like when you join a power the other parts of the game disappear.
