You get money for stuff you have not found yet.

For example, and icey world will net you around 200 credits for finding it.

If you are the FIRST person to find it ever, and turn it in, then you get a 50% bonus reward on top of that as well.

- discovering it
- surface scanning it
- being the first to do so adds a bonus
