Do you see the need for more action against griefers/gankers ?

Of course, I see a need for action for necessary game changes to act against griefer and ganker. You do not? I like the game and I would not like to see it go down. So my consideration is the following: The game has a loyal, but small player base.

Maximum players
2,751,550 PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS
787,102 Dota 2
597,253 Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
91.337 Grand Theft Auto V
51.001 ARK: Survival Evolved
40.967 Euro Truck Simulator 2
38,311 Arma 3
17,873 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim's Special Edition
16,208 Stellaris
12.069 Stardew Valley
5,932 Elite Dangerous
(10.12.17 Steam)

If now these few players are annoyed constantly, so they will switch to other games. As the griefer and ganker no longer have any victims, they will switch to other games, too. Especially since Star Citizen now with Alpha 3.0 is about to be published. A game by Braben was replaced earlier in history by a game by Roberts. Without a players, the game is dead and nobody will spend more money on cosmetic things. No revenue and no players means no need for servers and updates. The game disappears and with it the necessary manpower. I stopped playing Elite two month after purchase. I was in a new asp and got killed at a station as a noob. I was back in a sidewinder. I was so frustraded, quit a time after this, i give the grind a second chance. Most friends, startet with elite, happend the same and just stopped playing the game. Do you really see no need for action against players with ramming attacks at stations, players shooting down landed ships and such things ? For example, what would be a prison ship for those players who need to jump 10,000 LY back in a stock sidewinder after being shot down ? A switch for PvP on/off in the ship menu as in most mmo ? Private group and solo are not an alternative if you want to play with other random players or at least meet them. If the balancing were better, the annoying actions of the ganker and griefer will also annoy them, so also suddely disconnects would be a smaller topic. Fines are not a solution as these players have high sums of money. I own around 4,000,000,000 credits, so losing a ship is not relevant. It is just annoying. If this topic is not addressed swiftly and consistently to keep these players in check, the game will soon disappear, and with it the need of manpower. I know, it is diffult to discuss this in forum. The most active players, which cry in the forum and on reddit, are these griefers and gankers. I hope frontier will find a solution for it in the near future.
Although, maybe 1300 hours in one game are enough.

sincerely
