Here's to hoping that you made it. o7
Made it!
Sold all my data with 10 minutes to spare. Seriously, of that 3.5 hours, I made it with a 5% window. Really though, it was much more than 3.5 hours. I didn't include the 2 hours this morning I put in as well. I basically started at the Crab Nebula, 6.7kly away. This morning!
Aaah, I have to say, I am really happy I made this thread, I wouldn't have made it without your advice. Yes, I worked out the perfect way to be efficient, the last 28 jumps I didn't even need to refuel, and I didn't waste a second on the FSD. I learned something - think I'm ready for a Buckyball run
Got a bit worried when I hit the inter-armular gap (yes that's what it's called) and my route was constant unscoopables, but with determination and not a single break, I made it.
Aaah, that was so fun, new way to play. A race against the clock, be as efficient as possible. For a long time, with constant heat alarms going off. I just basically flew my ship for as long as I drive my car Manchester to London.
I have that feeling like the world is still moving, my head is swimming.
Sad news is I didn't make the top 5% so that whole thing was kind of not worth all the headache - but at least I got back into the top 15%
Now let's see in 2 minutes if we break Tier 7
FYI, I set out beginning of the week to get a few scans on economical to the Eskimo. I then read that I need about 1000 to get to the (then) top 5% so it because a slowly growing obsession, the more possible it seemed. Although I definitely estimated the time wrong. I was supposed to be back by 3am last night. But man, how close did I cut it.
Thanks again guys, as you can probably tell, I'm on a bit of a high.
EDIT: P.s. I recorded the last 1.5 hours. I'm going to edit it into a 10 minute video - best video ever
