Do you think Indra might be the last titan we're about to kill?

Possible but also doubtful when they just made a change to have the remaining Titans send systems straight to the invasion state (even with the exact modalities - namely, "How many", alongside the populated alerts - not known for yet), so... wouldn't expect it.

I myself would, from a pure player perspective, also expect them to go through on the - relatively strong - implication there will end up being 8 (incremental) decals for 8 Titans killed.

OP: You better get in touch with fdev then - they have a typo in the news announcement :

Looking to show off? Participating Commanders will also receive a ship kit, paint job and decal after the defeat of each Titan. This set will reflect the amount of Titan battles you personally participated in, with each Titan you destroy awarding you a different set, for a total of 8 to earn.

... according to you that post should read '5', not '8' ...

We may have to "chase" Titan #8 as it tries to make a desperate escape to the COL 70 Sector where we cannot follow.

Or, maybe we'll just blow up all 8 of them and have the Thargoids send a peace envoy to us begging us not to invade the COL 70 Sector once it opens up because we won.

Or, once #8 blows up, the next chapter will be "The Return of the Guardian AI." The AI may be concerned with all of our violence or something.

Three Titans, three capitol planets.

Maybe that is the starter for PP2.
Why not. I've had it as a theory for a bit, though not sure I mentioned it around these parts.

I certainly doubt everything will just "reset" magically when it arrives, and (the remaining) Titans would make a good excuse for why things are. Frontier like their lore reasonings behind stuff, anyway ...
