Do you think that we will see a JWE3 or no? If so what would you like to see?

Hello,

As we already know that JWE2 Dominion Malta Expansion pack is on the horizon, but we don't know if it will be the last DLC for JWE2 or not. I'm strongly pondering about if JWE3 is a sure fire go or if it will be going by the wayside since there is no planned movie for the Jurassic Franchise. I'm thinking that if JWE3 is announced for current hardware / next gen hardware what it could possibly be for us to be hyped for that gets us to buy the game. Me personally I would love to see a major leap where the older models like the Park Tour having a massive Garage for the vehicles to be stored instead of the vehicles popping out of thin air from the building, maybe that the vehicles could be equipped with a anti-large carnivore system that can be added like an upgrade to keep some of the larger carnivores from attacking the Vehicles that have not been genetically modified to tolerate the vehicles in their enclosures. I know many people would love to see a better ranger / security barracks for dealing with certain dinosaurs while others would love to see new attractions like the River Cruise that was shown off in a brief scene in both Jurassic Park and Jurassic World, while other would like some of the old attractions from JPOG get a fresh makeover for Jurassic World.

Me personally all would be a nice touch for JWE3, but maybe a bit of an expansion to park sizes would be nice like being able to buy the surrounding areas for a reasonable price like what you can do in Rollercoaster Tycoon Franchise. Maybe we could also see an expansion for transferring dinosaurs from one park to the other as mentioned in the Malta Pack with the option to store certain dinosaurs on a island or holding facility before they make their way to the new park. I would even be down for new behaviors for certain dinosaurs like maybe certain small herbivores like the Microceratus for example would be curious about certain humans but not attack them, while the humans would be more inclined to interact with them instead of instantly fleeing from them. There can even be the option for the Dilophosaurus to spit across fences towards humans or other dinosaurs as a challenge to properly contain them in their paddocks. The possibilities for how to make JWE3 if it were to be created are endless. There could even be new and exciting features for players to come back to the game, even if there was talks of a Chaos Effect DLC that added some of the hybrids that were released for the failed accompanying show back in the late 90's, or even new hybrids like the Diloraptor a hybrid between a Dilophosaurus and a Pyroraptor. We could even get the option to give all of the dinosaurs proto-feathers or actual feathers or certain environments the the freezing cold of Washington State mission that we get to playthrough in the Campaign of JWE2.

The possibilities are endless for what could be mentioned here from myself alone, but I would love to hear your thoughts on the subject??

I don’t think so.

People who say this upcoming DLC may be the last was because of the fact the Return to Jurassic Park PDLC in the previous game came out around this time of year back in 2019 was the last. It might be the same here, as they guess.

What they shy away from learning is the fact the JWE team at Frontier moved much of their focus to JWE2 for more story telling opportunities with cooperation with Universal Studios shortly after RTJP’s release, as JWE2’s director Rich Newbold said on Newsweek last year. JWE2 was also a licensed game they signed a contract for back in 2019, and planned for a FY22 (June 1, 2021 - May 30, 2022) release since mid-November of 2019, and had not changed when Dominion delayed a year later.

Games like this are not pitched exclusively because they’re cool sounding ideas, but pitched to make a sure it can make a profit which is more important since it’s a business. Businesses struggle or cease to survive if something goes horribly wrong financially. That’s not to say cool ideas are ignored at all, because that’s not true. There’s just business stuff that the average internet user doesn’t know or ask about at all to make it work.

Ok good point.

I believe so, JWE3 is possible, but not so soon, and it all depends on how Universal Studios will conduct the franchise, in my opinion JWE2 will still have several updates, a third game in my opinion is at least 5 years away. Think with me...breeding with baby dinosaurs is a highly requested feature since JWE1, improved combat and additional animations are also requested, more realistic hunting, more complex attractions and etc... to introduce all of this on next generation platforms, will require a lot of heavy work, and quite a bit of time as well. As technology advances over the years, all these features will be technically possible, but if we are talking about greater fluidity, realism and performance, Frontier will need a lot of time. You know what? I don't think it's bad to pay for a third game, I'll gladly do it, but for this it is necessary that the game is much more developed regarding gameplay mechanics.

Much too early to say, but unlikely. I think JWE2 will be the game we play for some time, at least until the next movie comes out. It would be nice if there were plans for the 30th anniversary of Jurassic Park. The anniversary only being less than a year away, I could see something special done for JWE2. Whether it is a free update or a DLC of some kind. JWE's life span was shortened because of JWE2. If there is a possibility of a JWE3, I don't think it will be anytime soon. At least for the foreseeable future. This game has so many possibilities and so much more potential. It could be our version of JPOG. I hope JWE2 is supported for a long time.
