Dock Mail Slot racking up Kills......:-)

For the first time playing this game I witnessed a station blast apart ships jammed up in the mail slot. It was rather funny, (although I'm sure the commanders flying them thought otherwise). I think it was an Orca, something medium sized and a Cobra all jammed up in the mail slot. I have no idea how they pulled it off, but the station turned them into junk, (I think the Cobra slipped away without dying). I then had only a few minutes left to land so I barreled through the remaining blackened ships with my Type 9. The Orcas' carcass went flying into the back of the station!

Crazy fun stuff.

Lol, thought for sure this was gonna be a thread about the drunken npc beluga pilots I have seen. Keep clear of the slot when they are going through. Frickin roadhogs!!

Well, if they exceeded the "dock or leave" deadline, the station shoots them down. Doesn't matter if you're stuck and can't move. Nothing new there.

I played with the Orca in Beta; it's a nice ship to fly and very manoueverable. But coming through the slot, the fins can get in the way if you are too far to one side, which forces the pilot towards the center of the slot, with inevitable collision possibilities. On top of that, the NPC pilots just use it as a space barge .... literally forcing their way against anyone trying to get through legally.
