Docking computer took a step back....

huh....i guess weapons arnt needed but its a bit stra...<type 9 ploughs into the side of a coriolis station repeatidly until i take manual control>

this was also coming in directly facing the letter box so the docking computer actually took control and veered it off course from the direct line it just needed to follow.

I know people say they'll never use these things etc etc but i've done for over 400 million trade profit (while on the netflix) with ZERO issues until today. I may of just been a lucky one but thank god for the reduction in repair costs is all i can say at the moment. (Seriously forcing me to pay attention when trading is not going to help).

EDIT: - thinking about it to add, did they know the ai was going to be screwy in this patch or something hence the 4 pips to shields over engines and a faster landing in general?

It was supposed to be improved. Let me check my conda.

As for 4 pips, it was intended. Ramming ain't cheap.

Yep, doesn't scratch the letterbox anymore. However, it slows down before entering it, so not sure if it's faster.

My 'conda is fine also and has never had a problem. I've just been going into a station, launching > exit as it launches > loading back ingame 10km away and trying over and over.

the type 9 was always a little wierd though it used to land at a wierd angle and sc along the docking pad to its location, almost making a shield a must for using a docking computer. 1.1 kinda fixed this wierdness but literally 5 seconds ago the type 9 just went to dock. Stopped and pitched so it was blocking the entrance before twisting itself into the letterbox as they sometimes do.

It took so long doing this i got some kind of red warning with a timer as it carried in flying in. I had both a timer and a "its safe to land". Just saved and exited to avoid it...maybe i'll leave trading a bit until this is resolved.
