Morale of the story is "get gud" at docking

Oh please! Does EVERYTHING have to be done the hard way ALL the time?

Tell you what, I'll take your advice and open a can with my teeth next time... Maybe I'll "Get Gud" at it and start my own circus!

I Can fly my ship backwards into the docking bay, however I use the DC sometimes just because I'm lazy, and want to look at the star map or something.
However its not 100% reliable so need to be NOT trusted.

Me too, although I've never flown in backwards. I have flown out backwards at speed 'cause my macro started in the wrong place and I didn't get permission to dock. [woah]

I love the view in headlook as a passenger.
It seems that using a DC is a sign that you aren't a real man*. I suspect that these posters are office wallahs. (My desk has go faster stripes and I can do wheelies on my office chair.)

* No offense meant to half the world. The better half IME.

I've been attacked while docking and always get a message from the DC that I am being attacked and the docking computer has released control. I then take over and land.
