Docking granted but no bay displayed

Was on a happy smuggling trip, got a docking premission but after i made it unscanned into the station, my docking bay number was not displayed on a landing bay. :eek:

my newb fault was to try to cancel the docking request and request a new one while beeing inside the station. while trying to get out before i got shot , i crashed near the entrance.

is it a known bug or are there some hidden docking bays?

happened in eravate, cleve hub.

It is a bug, use a workaround:
You only have to shake your ship a bit. In worse case do a u-turn or 360° roll.
And if pad is still unlid you can use the point on your little radar to "guess" the pad.
And over time you know, which pad has which number and you could fly straight towards it with closed eyes. :D

Most of the times you can still dock without the lights being present as long as you are at the right dock pad. If a ship has just left that pad and you were directed toward the same pad it just left the glitch that won't allow you to land sometimes occurs, and you have to cancel and ask permission to land again. Seems to happen more often at outposts than stations, the not being able to dock glitch. The flickering pad lights seem to happen more at stations. Thought they would have had this fixed by now.
