Docking request bug?

Hey, can anyone help me? Whenever I get close to a station, I can't request docking. I've tried logging out and back it, jumping to a different system, going into solo, and yet it still hasn't worked. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Did you turn off your sensors?

Also, be sure you're trying to request from the correct tab - the third (contacts) tab on the left pane. There's no option to request from the first (navigation) tab even though the target is on both.

Something is wonky. I had several outposts deny me yesterday, despite being allied with them, and greeted as an ally in the comms. Instead of being able to request docking at the usual 7.5Km, I couldn't get approval until I was under 2Km.
