Docking Request Denied!

Visiting outposts is infuriating. I am constantly waiting for slots to open up. I know about switching to solo mode, but I shouldn't have to. I suggest to make ships automatically enter the hangar after they have successfully docked.

It's really not that bad. Just go to a different outpost.

It's kind of like a real parking lot.

As a total newbie , I just wish it would tell you that why you can't get in.....instead of leaving you going <???> and wondering why..thinking it might be a faction thing...or you've done an infraction.....or...anything really...

There are two really good workarounds for this (as mentioned countless times in other similar posts):

1. Change to Solo mode
2. Play further away from starter systems or other heavily trafficked areas (make a new home around 150ly away from where you start).

Edit: Oh! The reason behind Docking Request Denied is simply that all the landing pads/hangars are occupied.

So there is a docking queue system comming up. Nice. I was thinking about that and wondered why with all the technology we have, the computer can not log docking requests and alert the pilot when there is a space available.

I have not seen evidence that a queue is coming. Link please?
