Hi. Been playing this a while now, on and off (Work and stuff keeps getting in the way).
I first played Elite on the BBC B, then the C64. Then Frontier on the Atari ST, then Oolite on the pc.
I guess I never got away from the game that totally blew me away when I was a kid.
Anyhow, apart from Ed on the x box, I love bikes (Have a Harley, just got rid of my gorgeous Triumph Rocket...That was a sad day) play guitar a bit and write a little fiction, mostly just for fun. I have one I did for a writer's comp on another site that is total fan fic for ED and, though I dodged the time line, the galaxy ought to be familiar to anyone who has played for any length of time.
Before registering I plundered this forum for tips and advice whenever I have gotten stuck, so thanks to all of you who posted such things since I couldn't tell you when I was lurking.
