Does anybody know where to a 32 cargo rack?

I have not been able to find a 32 cargo for my Cobra, has it changed so Cobras cant get 32's or do i need to upgrade something? in the beta stages i was able to get them easy but not any more, i have been to many systems and many stations with no luck. im at Procyon now, if anybody could please let me know if you have bought a 32 cargo rack for your Cobra and if possible where you bought it system and station i would appreciate it. if not i appreciate it anyway.


my friend told me he went to a system (sorry cant remember which) were he was able to get one but he was in a different ship, so i rushed there and again no 32's all the other sizes where there, he definitely got it from there so that's why im thinking i may have to upgrade something or the Cobra cant have them but that doesn't sound right to me.

i personaly have not seen them.. i thought it was class 1 = 2, class 2 = 4, class 3= 8 and class 4= 16?

but maybe they are out there as rare gear, like focused weapons arnt common to see..

You cannot get a 32 for the cobra, all the cargo slots were adjusted some time back to limit the bigger cargo holds to bigger ships; it was possible at one point but no longer.

in a cobra you can update your cargo racks to a maximum of 36 still keeping shields and scanner. Although i havent tried taking out shields to fit more cargo racks if that is possible?

Yep, its possible, but with the increase in repair costs and wear and tear and stuff i am not sure it's worth it

In a cobra, for all your non-vital equipment, you have 3xC4 and 3xC2 slots available, if you have a cargo module in all of them, it adds up to 3x16 + 3x4 = 60t space. If you keep one shield slot and one for scanners you will have 2x16 + 2x4 = 40t

Not really, he meant 36 total, as in 2 16s in the Class 4 slots and a 4 in the class 2 slot. You can actually run shieldless and put another 16 into your shields class 4 slot, which I imagine a lot of weaponless Cobra traders do because its fast enough to escape most conflict. Im currently trading in a Cobra and the wear and tear costs are minimal and I have very few repairs as I avoid conflict at all cost. Totally worth it.
