Yes I do. I meant when Randoms join your RES you can either not wing up, meaning stealing each others kills, or you wing up, but then you share the bounty (as long as both did damage). So essentially you only get half, allthough technically faster because you are both doing damage. Merits on the other hand are not halfed, both get the same as if you are alone, but I've never tried this.

merits :
all wingmen get the same merits as long as they made a hit on the target
means wenn a target gives 15 merits when killed , all members get 15 points
at 4 members , all taged the target , 4 x 15 points , tested and confirmed
our team allways wings up in tradingwings
448 t cargo in my anna on my favorit trade route means every wing member gets the 5% trade bonus just for escorting
that makes 40 000 cr on each stop , at 10 stops per hour ?????
easy money and very fun flying , trading alone ????

So far I have had two random commanders asking me to wing up, and both times I thought it was really fun and it really added something to my game. Chatting is important I think, be nice to one another 
. The other night a Vulture CMDR asked me to help kill his assassination target, it was fun to help him look for the perp, and to help kill it ofcourse. I got half the bounty which suited me just fine. I wing up with a friend of mine as well now and then, sometimes to mine or just do other stuff. The social aspect in this game is great fun in my opinion.
