Does anyone own one of these enigmatic ships??
What made you buy it and what is it useful for?

They appear cool from the outside but ............ stylish, classy transport for what purpose?

I think they're meant for passenger transportation missions that aren't presently implemented.

I'm guessing these missions are in the pipeline as there are two or three up-coming ships that are similar

I have one and have flown it at some RES to test out the weapons and combat capabilities. I bought it just to have incase things change in the future when they are implemented in game:

I hope at some point we can become involved in NPC terraforming or station building projects and be able to move colonists from populated worlds to frontier worlds.

That would be cool. Whenever I'm out in deep space and come across an earth-like world, I wish I had a bunch of colonists I could drop off. Colonists that I have brainwashed with the teachings of the First Church of Yorinaria.

And if we can ever walk around in our ships, VIP escort missions would have an extra element.

What are they like to fly and fight in? I only ever see them floundering around outside space stations flown by npc's

Its not a bad ship to pilot with its intended purpose. It can be used for combat as I have taken it to a few RES before, but certainly not meant to do this. I also fly with FAO.
