Does anyone actually use the Orca ?

the imperial clipper is superior to the orca is almost every way. it certainly is not worth 48 mill when the clipper is 22 mil. It is barely better then the asp

I loved mine, was like riding a whale.. not sure its exact purpose in game apart from providing slow lumbering targets for people to fixate on. At the end of the day I couldn't handle flying about in a ship that visually resembled a feminine hygiene product. :D

What the - is up with all those necro lately ?

Guys, it's nice that you use the search function, it really is, but a topic from 6 months ago should DEFINITELY be renewed in the form of a new subject.

You know, what with drones and all now, on paper the orca is the second best pure mining ship in the game. Nice selection of class 5 slots for drones, 2 med hardpoints for mining lasers, plenty of cargo space...

Then you could do the profession nobody loves in the ship everyone hates.

That's a good point actually. The quantity of C5s does actually make that better than the Clipper for mining.

Imagine getting that beautiful sleek exterior all scratched, mucky and dusty with asteroid debris though? *shudders*

I use my Orca for mining, she's good at it too.

2 things people don't get about the Orca; she's as fast as a Clipper and she can ram and survive just abou anything.....oh and she makes a "fasten seatbelts" Bing before boosting. Really I got her after my combat Python, just for her looks, and like most of my ships it gave me something other than a Conda to aim for.

Orca is Alliance, not Imperial. Just because she looks great people think she's Imperial, but she's not.

I'm patiently making my way on a tour of various nebulae with my Orca, solely for cool screenshots. She's a very photogenic ship.
