I love elite dangerous. I also love the Adder. I have been playing the game for around two years and have access to all ships apart from the corvette. I find myself coming back to the Adder a lot. I prefer the smaller ships. I've bought most of the ship kits and a good few paint jobs as customization is a great feature of the game. I'm desperate for an Adder ship kit. It would be the icing on my favourite little cupcake. Please frontier consider the smaller less popular ships out there as the pilots who love them do so with hot searing passion.
Does anyone else feel their favourite ship gets forgotten about?

I think you've kind of answered your own question there. Adder / T9 etc are, AFAIK, the lesser flown ships. The paint jobs and ship kits are obviously going to be rolled out for the more popular ships first as they represent the best return on investment. I imagine all ships will eventually have some degree of customisation, but they'll continue to be done in the order that shows the most demand.
You know I'd buy that if they had to redesign a new concept from scratch. But it's all the same paint and pieces. And while the majority of players don't actively fly some of these other ships, the majority have played on one of these and probably still have one docked.
