Does anyone else play with music off?

music is always off in my games. sometimes i listen to radios (yes) while playing.

but yes, i believe there are 2 people in this world who turn off music.

edit:3

first tweak on any game is usually getting rid of music. usually after having listened to it once, which is enough.

sounds in elite are just sensational and a big part of the experience, and i have seldom need of music, not even my own selection. i just spice them up with a buttkicker that rocks my ... chair.

I switched off all music except the blue danube autodock (which I don't use on most ships) in 2016. I found the stuff that fades in & out on planets pretty annoying & the rest was nice but after a while I'd just had enough of it :)

I enjoyed the music when I first started playing but once I’d heard each situation it went off. As we all know the sounds are fantastic, so give them free reign I say.

Yep Default now on "nearly" every game on every platform, Music to zero in the menu...
Enable my own...
Smplayer/spotify for Computer...
Media player/spotify on Consoles...

And any thing uploaded to YouTube can have custom music as I don't care abut getting paid. its free hosting, not a channel to make money...

All music's off except for the SC music. When I'm travelling to a distant starport it gives me the impression that I'm going somewhere new and unknown.

I got in the habit of it while traveling and exploring, because the music would keep cutting off and starting up again. Sometimes I'll even just play the Elite: Dangerous soundtrack in the background while I play the game though.

I really like a few of the tracks and enjoy hearing them in the game. They seem to fit the setting well and make for nice ambiance.

Another questions, is how may people turn OFF some of the voice stuff, like the hyper jump countdown? After 6 years, just couldn't take the 3,2,1... Engage anymore! There's a lot of options for all these ED gives you, which is pretty cool! Like, why do I need to hear "Docking Successful"? :( I know it was successful, I am DOCKED and still alive! I made it, I get it!
