Does anyone have a flawless Oculus Rift?

Now I sent back my fourth Rift.

My first one had black level problems on one eye. The other one was ok.
All three replacements had the problem on both eyes.

This guy had the same problems with one eye:

The test picture should look like this (captured from an LG TV)

In my all my Rifts and in the one eye of the first one it's shown as this:
0 (1).jpg

I looks like the black is black and the fist really dark grey has a jump to 16/16/16 or similar.
looks like a limited RGB range pic used on a full RGB display.
But since it's possible to only have this error on one eye, it couldn't be a driver issue.

In ELITE it results in this:

Same picture in the Rift:

Could you guys and girls out there check your Rifts?
You can get the test pic from the linked website and/or check the border of your galaxy map.

Now i am waiting for my fifth Rift and have no hope that this one will do better.

Edit: I also checked two other Rifts of my friends and both of them had that issue. Since they only play bright games like DCS an Project Cars, they didn't notice it.

Sounds like you should have kept the first one

oh no... the difference between the eyes is much worse than the error on both sides.

But i am happy I had the first Rift with at least one flawless display, though I know there is the possibility to have such displays.

The Oculus support is very good. And they have a name for that issue: "Black level error"

I guess I must have just got lucky. I took mine out of the box, plugged it in and it's been fine. I've not tweaked a thing, apart from sliding the pupil thingy as far as it will go...

Have you tried the test picture? At first I also didn't noticed the error. Then I noticed the problem on the galaxy map and the normally black sky looks much brighter in some areas.

mine is same. bad quality visuals. i think it is HUMAN EYE error? i mean depends on the person who is playing? i have motion sickness too. :(

Absolutely not... it's easy to check if you compare die visuals of the rift with the visual of a properly adjusted monitor or TV.
And the camera didn't lie too... look at my screenshots. The test picture or the galaxy map looking totally different.
