Does anyone have additional info on DK2 and ED development for the future

I have not ran across any info to further enhance/fix some of the common issues noted in the forum so I'm asking if anyone knows for certain please share.
Thanks.

I already started one thread but got no response
I have also asked 1 dev and sent a PM to Michael Brooks to have some developer help in the VR forum.

If we can at least add our voices to this or the other thread requesting some dev input here it might work

Hello Pixelpowder, I agree, we need to unit as a group to send a group message on this topic. I really feel both DK2 and ED would benefit if some of the issues were addressed. Speaking only for myself, DK2 was worth every penny just to be able to play the game in this fashion.

Maybe because the DK2 is still a prototype, they are keeping things low key. I personally find this odd as they should be marketing the game as the goto VR experience! There are no better examples out there of how to implement rift support, so why on earth they don't make more of deal about it seems illogical.

SlackR you should try "BladeRush" on Steam. It is one of the best VR implementations I have seen yet.

I understand the argument thats its still development but I imagine they devoted quite a bit of resources already to VR implementation and would have imagined they would still be building on that to some extent.

Of course they don't need our input but as in many things ED the community has helped make the game a better one

"low key" is a nice phrase for "no key".
VR was an awesome marketing horse for Frontier when they needed it, all the magazines were writing about Elite and VR.
Once they went "release" with their beta (and it is still beta) they got so many customers, VR went into "no key"

And so many fans joined, their support department also was closed I guess, those 2k bucks a month can be saved as people will accept the state : )

I think the focus right now is on extending the main game for majority of the players. Whats more important from a community perspective, Wings with hundreds people complaining about the lack of multi-player functionality and how hard done by they are because its not an MMO. Comms, again with hundreds of people complaining they can't talk to each other. Or VR, which affects a relatively small percentage of players.

I'd love to know the road map too, but suspect we are not going to get a lot of action until the CV1 is released

It's "BlazeRush", not "BladeRush". Along similar lines, Toybox Turbos is good fun on the DK2 if you used to enjoy the Micro Machines games.

Oops....yes sorry...made a typo there. Thanks for correcting it. Very off topic....but it is a veeeeery fun VR experience
