Does anyone know anything about the Dinda System?

So I just arrived at Dinda, a little system in the bubble with one earthlike with a moon, and no other celestial bodies aside from the main star.

The thing that is odd about Dinda is it's planets are named, the earthlike is called "Ravenclan's Settlement" and the moon is called "Hood", the station orbiting the earthlike is named "Ravenclan's Astro Lab" and the one around Hood is called "Mount Sunday"
Also Hood has one of the huge surface outposts on it.

Is this a reference to something? Or perhaps a location in one of the earlier Elite games? It's rare to see a place with unique names, and a google search turned up nothing of value about it. I really like this system so I might hang around for a bit and become friendly with the locals.

sounds nice, although I wouldn't say it's rare to find named planets and moons in populated space.

Oh really? I haven't seen many myself (or if I have I haven't remembered them, that's always a possibility) so I assumed they were pretty rare. The only one other than ones in obvious systems I can think of off the top of my head is the planet Vulcan which has Leonard Nemoy station orbiting it.

It's likely an honor bestowed upon the backers.

Yes I suppose thats the most likely option. I'll keep a look out for a CMDR Ravenclan!

Leonard Nemoy is a tribute rather than a backer named one. A couple of backer named stations that spring to mind are "Norman - Mavis's Bingo Palace" and "Big Harry's Monkey Hangout".
