Does anyone obsessively keep all their ships in one station?

I do. And im about to embark on a ludicrously long haul in a Sidewinder to go collect my Vulture that I left miles away last night when I purchased a new Clipper!!!

So far I've stashed an AClass T7, an ASP, a Cobra, a Clipper, and much later on tonight, my beloved AClass 'idiot box' (as I like to call it) will be there too!!

Why do I do it? !!!

I do as well, all my ships are always in one location, though I haven't moved home systems in four months so no biggie, may have to move soon as the PP creep is invading my backwoods area.

I do not know why YOU are doing it, but I do know why I am doing it. I just like to have all my ships (6 surrently Cobra, Asp, Vulture, Python, Clipper, Anaconda) on one place, because I can easily decided what I want to do today. Maybe trading in Anaconda, maybe some missions in Python, maybe some quick fight in my Vulture etc.

If you are not pledged in PP, there is no reason to move. As far as I can say, nothing changed for me when PP come to my system.

I keep all my ships in one location. Used to be Shinrarta Dezhra, now it's the system I do regular trade runs to and from.

I have four ships at the moment, Asp, Vulture, T7 and a Cobra. I am out in the black in the ASP, the Vulture and T7 are together and Cobra was just a throw away ship as I got bored with collecting ships in a Sidey and is too far away from my home system for me to bother to collect.

On my return, I hope to have enough funds for a python, which will also be in my home system. I am unsure what to do with Cobra, as I did have a blast when I first got a Cobra with some smuggling, missions and RES hunting.

One day we might be able to employ NPC's to collect our babies and bring them all home to roost.

I do too (all 4 of them). All except my freagle (which I still need to collect) and my bookmark sidewinders:)

I do the same thing :)

Made me think a while back... Back in Beta when the stations were handed out, once in a while one fell of the map and disappeared or was move to another system. Would be quite a drama to log into the game only to find out the station where you docked all your processions went awol.

I picked my home system some time ago and have collected my entire "fleet" there:

Cobra, Vulture, Eagle, Python, Diamondback Explorer and Asp.

Use a Hauler. Better jump range than a sidey out of the box and you can carry some goodies to sell and cover your travel costs.

I have ships all over the place. Two sideys, two Vipers, a Hauler, Cobra, two Asp (Explore and mining), T-6, T-7, DBS.

I don't want to keep them all together just in case the Thargoids CAN destroy an entire station.

Guilty as charged and I have a lot of ships.

The one good thing is that before I change my home station I am forced to research, have a look at the economy, the shipyards, Res Sights, and Trade Routs. It is a big time sink to move 7 ships 100Ly out only to find that the station does not meet my needs, nor are there any stations close that meet my needs.

If you have a bounty on your head (which thanks to my weekly undermining Rampage sessions I always do), and you can live with the 30K cost when sold (I certainly can) then the Cobra is your Taxi of choice; fastest ship in the game with a great jumprange, and small enough to be A-Specc'd at almost any High Tech world.

Annoying BH'er interdict you? just boost away until you can jump away safely. Nowadays a Taxi Hauler would probably get me killed, so I'll stick with a Taxi Cobra.
