Engineers Does anything speed up the initial ship scan for wanted?

Is there any engineer mod that can speed up the initial (built in) check for whether a ship is wanted or not? I'm not talking about the manual kill warrant scanner but the default check you have to do before you shoot an npc.
 
Be nice if the 'rapid scan' KWS mod also completed the 'standard' scan once it finished...

In a firefight of multiple engagements i'll very very often now have the KWS complete BEFORE the ship's even showing clean/wanted.... I think my quickest scanner is now around 2.1s mark
 
Theoretically, long-range scanners allow for early detection, so you could have basic data for most ships in a zone available before they can close to weapon range.
