Does Beyond Chapter One have more content?

There's great core game improvements, but is there more fresh content than what's in the beta?

For example:

  • Guardian weapons that were shown during Frontier Expo.
  • Guardian ships
  • Thargoid mothership
  • Thargoid stations
  • Storyline missions

What else will keep players engaged untill the Chapter Two beta?

Farming Materials and Trading Materials and unlocking Tech Broker items. This will keep players engaged until Not-a-Season-4 ;-)

It's still fairly early in the beta, and they always hold something back - I have a feeling I know at least 2 things that have been held back so far, so...

If by Engaged, you mean rushing home to spend every waking minute in Elite... probably not. But keep things moving along and interesting? Very likely.

There is a good bit of content in the beta right now, though I'm sure good parts of it are not in their final state yet. It will be interesting to see which way some of these things go.

Content hasn't been the real issue as there is tons of it. It's better ways to interact with that content which has been missing.

So the much better trade tools is great, as is the megaship interactions. Engineers are for me anyway a more pleasent experience and I am sure there will more with the continuing story of the thargoids and guardians.
