Newcomer / Intro Does Bounty change Commodity Prices?

I took a Fed mission that had me kill a clean smuggler ("mission target"). I now have a local bounty. Does that change the price I'll get if I try to sell commodities in a different system? Inara-reported sell price is three times higher than the price I am actually offered. The Inara data is 7 hours old, so it definitely could have changed. I'm just not sure if that much of a price swing is normal.

Local bounties don't affect anything of that sort.

The market prices you get on third party tools are highly unreliable, especially in the case of "goldrush commodities". Mostly it's because Frontier lowered the demand caps across the board to prevent exploits.
That means that if somebody finds a great price, by the time you get there, the demand was already satisfied, sometimes even by the very commander whose tool reported the price to Inara, and the price dropped back to normal.

much more dynamic economy now, find your own trade routes and selling stations is the best. Bounty just means System authorities will attack you as will affiliated stations. Its only that system but you can pay it off.

Dock carefully and quietly at a station in system, go to System Authority and 'Hand Yourself In' - youll be sent to a detention centre to pay your bounty, no loss of anything but credits for the bounty.
or
Find an Interstellar Factor in a different system (filter on map if you already been to system or its known) and pay off the bounty there - 25% surcharge to pay as well
or
Wait until you die and youll get the bounty added to rebuy and get transported to Detention Centre to pay it off.
