Does Bounty Hunting Work Yet ?

To save myself the hassle of installing the latest launcher and patching, can I just ask if I can bounty hunt yet ?

Specifically:

1) Do player pirates (with a bounty) ever actually make an appearance ?

2) Is it yet possible to actually take them out before their internet connection fails on them ?

3) Is there yet any means to track them down (from system to system if nescessary ?

If all three of the above have now been fixed, then great i'll finally be able to play this game as intended (as a bounty hunter), if the the answer is no, then cya all in another six months.

2 - Yes. But rarely.

3 - Yes. If you friend them, you can follow them farther than one high wake.
