Does Challenge mode or any of the Chaos Theory maps have potentially all dinos unlockable?

If I play on any of the challenge modes, are all expedition sites available in order to eventually get all the dinos? I like sandbox mode but its too easy and I want something like challenge mode, with research, excavations etc but with all dinos.

Still gotta wait for Frontier to finally add that most obvious mode to the game...so no, there's currently not a single map in the game that allowes for such a gameplay. It's either all unlocked and at 100% right away or terribly limited and restricted challenge and chaos maps.

Though seeing as a whole lot of players are currently asking for research and expedition options in sandbox I really hope those will be added soon.

Hi there! There's currently not a Challenge or Chaos Theory level that lets you unlock every single dinosaur in one fell swoop. The first Challenge Mode level has a large amount of available expedition sites though, and you should be able to unlock the majority of dinosaurs there. Just don't sweat the par time :)

Thanks, I do wish that we had the option of engaging in a sandbox mode where we could use the same parameters as challenge mode like excavations, terrain cost, guest type modification, research etc

I agree with Jens. Farming the Challenge modes is the way to go. Just get a 5 star rating, don't worry about par - and work those scientists to death.

I already have all dinos unlocked. I just wanted to confirm if I went back to challenge mode, if there was a way to still encounter most of the dinos. Which level is Acrocanthasaurus located btw? I love that guy

As many people have already commented, the ideal would be to start the sandbox mode with the options of:

-Excavations and complete genomes: Yes / No

-Investigations completed: Yes / No.

And with this, you would start a game in the Sandbox of Operation genesis style. It would be a free mode with everything to unlock on the same map (both dinosaurs and research and improvements) and with all the sandbox options available to customize the game to your liking, such as not having storms or always daylight. This would cost them nothing to add this options and the sandbox mode would have much more replayability, almost infinite. In addition, for more casual or inexperienced players it would also be very helpful.

If you add this, I have no problem with the challenge mode remaining as it is.

Acrocanthosaurus is on the maps of Germany and NW USA.
