Does Frontier still wants us to play the game?

By reading all these new restrictions I ask myself if Frontier still wants us to play the game, or if the probably do not want us to play the game anymore.

- Do not play pvp a lot (or you'll be screwed up)
- Do not switch modules a lot (we will prevent this)
- Do not work on the background simulation that much

And so on. :O

No, but what they are saying is:

Roleplay a Criminal or Terrorist - No Problem, then you should get the full experience and be treated like one
Switch modules all you want, but if they are "hot" then they should be treated as such and unloading them (or rendering them clean) means you have to deal with other criminals to get the job done
Working on the background sim - fine by us, just remember that it is a PvE focused system in design. If you want to do so by Terrorist or Criminal means then your crimes and consequences will be reflected to your enemies and give them license to retaliate in kind.

Hope I cleared this up for you

It will let more people in the open because some players don't care if you have a Warrant or not. They just kill.

Repped this simply because it's very true - although this is simply a story that we are all involved in, it is a simulation that is, in aim, as realistic as the game scope allows. Which is why I always play in Open, and recommend that everyone do it, for most things. The risk is higher of course, but that's just another element of realism, including all the things mentioned in the quoted comment above. If I am right in saying this, the vision of Elite Dangerous is to be a real and living Universe, where everyone can interact in whatever career and breadth they want. These changes are designed to help with that.

Just go to a CZ and pick a side - you can indulge in as much PvP as you want without risk of fines or bounties.

in conflict zones there is no bounty between the players ?

as much pvp as I want, I do not think though, there is still the exorbitant rebay cost for the big ship very well equipped and reappearance too far.

in its conflict zones, it is necessary to put spaceports (or megaship) provided for this purpose with many docking accesses.

other worries with his zones of conflicts, to go there by being chased (bounty hunters or police) .. a scan and the pvp is broken in the zone.

conclusion its conflict zones are planned for PVE (wings) and not for PVP, in any case something is missing for unlimited pvp.

If only there were places that do not have a working government where the rules do not apply...

It would be sheer anarchy that would...

These are the solutions from the council of players in the universe:

1. The ship is worth way more than any cargo you carry. Let them be able to board and steal your ship. Maybe normalize ship vs cargo value.
2. Remove Solo and private groups and force everyone into Open. No more Elite: Harmless.
3. By default, about half the stations in the galaxy will be hostile to you and pose a greater risk when trading/doing missions, which will reflect in higher rewards. And way more immersion. The galaxy comes alive with drama/diplomacy and storylines.
4. You can get allied to Thargoid factions and thus have access to all their ships.
5. There are hidden bubbles of aliens in the galaxy. If we find them, we gain access to exotic ship and technologies and lucrative trade routes with exotic goods that nobody except you know the origins of. ( Watch out: They will try to follow you into the Black to figure out where the hidden treasures come from... )

only the two points bother me, making a ship in the elite, especially the most expensive and the best equipment represents several months or year to play (especially for the necessary rank).

to be able to steal ships means to literally steal several years of play to another player.

and in terms of forcing people to play in Open .. I do not know, certain things should be improved before or it might scare a lot of player, there is competition, other games might as well replace it.
