does it matter on what continent you play?

The main difference is in the weather (more/less rain, higher/lower temperatures).

In regards of looks it doesn't matter that much.

Temp goess by logic i would guess or is there anything to it. since in africa its hot days and can be very cold at night depends on where u are

Well, depending on the regon or temperature and what animals xou have in your zoo, you need more / less coolers or heaters. Keeping african animals in a tundra biome can be pretty expensives. Same goes for dall sheep in asian tropical or something like that. So if you play with a budget, it makes a difference. Also, I think, in the warmer regions you need more drink shops. It all comes down to management in the end.

i dont get that also wehre do i swee how old an animal can be? or something insane that you have to ask every question ebcause the game fails to tell you :/ exhausting

The game won't explode if you test things out, luckily. Just click around and see what all the heat maps, animal tabs or the zoopedia tells you. The game is full of helpful information. And while there are some things that aren't explained clear enough (the team is working on them), everyone can play this game. If you have trouble getting into it, play the tutorial. It will help. If it doesn't, there are some great YouTube tutorials. If that fails as well, this is a welcoming, friendly community that is rather happy to help newer players get into their (sometimes favorite) game. And if you say "please" and "thank you" once in a while, there is a 100% chance that someone will help you make everything in game possible that is possible.

As far as looks go they do vary a little bit. I like the soil color in the tropical Asia map the best. The grassland American map for example is somewhat dull in comparison but good for what it’s intended to be and overall all exhibit pretty good colors for the region there meant to represent. I prefer taiga and temperate maps as I prefer to setup my zoos that way in comparison to tropical or African regions. I like tundra but the snow does hinder visibility quite a bit for building.

Yeah presented quite a few challenges for me too. Usually around may- October the snow would melt so that’s when I’d do the majority of the building especially around the path work. It also limits your animal selection. I know there’s heaters and coolers and I like the idea but it is a pretty unrealistic feature except for maybe the holding areas. As most zoos put away there tropical animals for the winter. I’ve also seen elephants, rhinos, and many others in the snow before. Of course tundra like temps would probably be a little too much for most animals anyway.

Use a barrier that can be curved. Set angle snap to any angle. Create perfect circle.
I have to say that snap to angle is a very useful option for building all kinds of round-ish things. No matter if you we are talking about circular paths, habitat barriers or other constructions this little thing is almost always part of the trick to get it done, and adjusting barrier/path length to get to a desired radius is another. Sometimes additional steps are needed - especially when we are talking about nice circular paths - but if you play around with that option a bit, either during the easy tutorial missions or in sandbox, many questions about circular building answer themselves.
