The touchpad is already part of the previous gen controller, in JWE1 it is just another button (it's the "go to notified place" button).
The variable resistance on the lower triggers doesn't seem like something that'll get used too much (driving and piloting the chopper would probably be it).
Rumble is just a higher definition than the previous gen, so it probably wouldn't be that different (rumbles when close to a dinosaur or during a storm for example)

Hi Jens, will the PS5 version have 4k resolution with 60fps? And will it have HDR support? I would really like to know that before pre-ordering this game. Thank you in advance
Pretty sure the quote is the closest you'll get to an answer.
60 fps I'm not sure on (without much stuff, it's basically guaranteed, but the threshold for fps dip won't be knowable till you test it), but reading up on 4k and HDR, they seem dependant entirely on your setup (including being plugged in properly), rather than which PS5 game you play.
