Does mining hotspot size mean something?

Let me explain the question further...

Does larger mean stronger?
Does smaller mean stronger because its concentrated or focused?
Does size matter at all as far as strength?

You see.. the subsurface mining game.. the larger spots produce less tritium than smaller so in some instances size matters

You do not need to explain overlap.. we all get this.

...... and yes.... I'm sure there will be some phallic banter posts, but i am curious about this question.

Phallic banter? How dar.....nevermind.

I usually have more joy in smaller spots......seriously, there was a painite hotspot I was mining a day or two ago and every other asteroid (laser mining btw) had some level of painite in it.

This is my current theory as well. I also have as small diamond completely inside a mid sized diamond... going into the center of the small produces really nice results

I read somewhere that the mass of the planet has a bearing on the proliferation of some minable commodities in it's ring. Not actually sure how true that is though or if it's just a myth someone was sprouting. You know what the internet is like these days
