Does Oculus Store bought ED work on the VIVE?

I ask because whilst i know the other 2 versions work fine, iirc there was a "bug" when ED 1st launched on the oculus store which broke vive support.

I am trying to maintain a list of cross compatible games accross both steam and oculus store bought items.

Well I'm logging into oculus elite with an account not registered for oculus.
See no reason why the opposite wouldn't work.

Should be as simple as finding the launcher exe, start steamvr and start the game.
Might at worst have to beshutdown the oculus vr service. It shouldn't really be running if there isn't a rift connected anyway.

If it's a more permanent switch from rift to vive you should be able to just download the launcher installer, login and install the game via it instead.
No real need for a steam key anyways.

Well I still think it's really all about the frontier account.

Both oculus and steam launches the launcher, the launcher logs in the frontier account and that checks what versions your license key covers.
I remember when buying elite on steam.
On my thing I got was a key, I then had to create an frontier store account that I and we all login with.

I'm pretty sure you can make a desktop shortcut to your oculus install for elite and just start that normally and if you have steamvr running it should pick right up.
It probably would trigger steamvr as well, but I just prefer to have it all running.
