Engineers Does pinning blueprint make mission RNG more favourable?

Don't know if I am just imagining this but I get the feeling that when I have specific blueprints pinned it seems like I get the mission reward commodity/data/material that I needed for that blueprint more often.

Has anyone tried a study to see if this is the case, or could it just be random luck?

If this is true, then it's important and everyone should know, if not, then not.

I would assume that its just sheer dumb luck that you're receiving the required materials more often. Maybe it just looks like that because you're more focused on those specific materials so when you do get them it just stands out more?

A while back, I posted a request for pinned blueprints to increase the chances of a mission offering the required materials. As far as I know, it has NOT been implemented. I would like it to work that way; it would improve using the engineers imo.

Pinning blueprints actually works for you? Every time I try it just does nothing. Why we can't just browse the engineer's entire catalogue from that menu I'll never know.

Its just your mind playing tricks on you. Look up confirmation bias.

I believe it does!

It seems like, if I pin a blueprint before rolling that, usually on the first roll (but sometimes it takes more) I will get a roll that is terrible on everything that is supposed to be terrible and awesome on what is supposed to be awesome i.e.:

If my FSD mod is supposed to increase range at the expense of integrity and heat the roll will either max or almost maximize range while slamming integrity and heat-handling. It is almost as if the game is offering this "best-and-worst" upgrade right away for CMDRs willing to accept it.

This I have also noticed. I tend to stick with my first roll most of the time.

Is pinning blueprints working now? In 2.1 it regularly unpinned. I guess the cork board i pin them too was a rubbish one from poundland
