Newcomer / Intro Does purchasing exploration info void undiscovered celestial?

If I where to use the option to purchase exploration data in the galaxy map, does it give me the same data from going in and discovering that system?

I was wondering because I'm the explorer type and didn't want to purchase any of these if it were to take away from the exploration aspects of the game.
