Check your fire groups. It has a Data Link Scanner, and even a Composition Scanner too.

It does have one and you can use it fine. Maybe you've not assigned fire groups or had a wrong one selected?

FYI – in case anyone has the problem I did...
I had to disable the Surge Repeater and Aculeus Launcher fire groups and then setup the Data Link and Comp. Scanner to make it work for me – for some reason it didn't like having two sets of fire groups setup.
