Does superpower rep roll over?

Quick question. If I reach 100% rank and keep working without taking the ascension mission, does that rep roll over to the next rank or is it lost? If it rolls over, is there a limit? Thanks

I'm pretty sure it does, I have 100% fed rank and ranked up with them. I still have 100% repor progression for the next rank and get rank up missions.

It rolls over. I went up 2 ranks without doing any additional rep missions because I had 230% worth. :)

Prior to 2.3, it does indeed keep track, and you can rank up multiple times in a row (I have done no more than 3 myself). Something to note is that you cannot turn in more than one rank up mission at a time, and receive the promotion. Any extras you have will give you the credits (and some rank progress, I assume), but not the promotion. You need to accept and complete a promotion mission, then accept and complete another, etc (you can continue running normal missions that provide rank progression at the same time still), until you run out of promotions.

I don't have the beta, so I don't know if this still works post-2.3.

There is also the theory that you will progress faster if you withhold your promotions until later, but as far as I know, no one has been able to prove this conclusively. I don't believe this to be true, personally, but it perhaps feels faster because you can't see the slow progression (at higher ranks).

That stems from an old truth, from what I know. Prior to 2.0 the rank missions themselves provided significantly more rank progress than ordinary missions, so stacking them and completing en-masse provided a major jump. A colleague who'd been doing this for Fed rank at the time 2.0 dropped noted the change immediately. They are the same as any other mission now in terms of progress.
