Newcomer / Intro Does Superpower Reputation Decay?

I am allied with Empire and I notice that if I don't play for a day or two, my reputation drop by a couple of percent, and I am friendly with Federation and havn't done any Fed missions for a long time and my federation reputaion doesn't drop.
What's going on here?

Once Allied, your rep can reduce to 75% (Friendly) - it doesn't go lower unless you are a very naughty boy indeed.

It doesn't really count for anything, so you're not losing much.

The other one that decays is the "Pilots Federation". Can't remember how many times I've become allied with them.

It also decays UP from Hostile to just-not-Hostile
