Hmmmmm, it thought it will be cross sessions
only same session and same location, i mean you must see the ship to talk with CMDR, kinda lame, we can't msg each other in game to find where we are and meet so there's no use of in game comms at all as we need always be same place and without slaving drives it's impossible ..

Sessions? You mean servers? I doubt it.
Other than friends (which doesn't work yet) you should be on same server as,
You have to target someone to text them (or pull down from comms menu).
Each would all be on your server?
