Does the Asp X remind anyone else of the Jupiter II from Lost in Space?

The Asp Explorer's hull outline has always seemed reminiscent to me of the Jupiter II from the 60's TV show Lost in Space. Particularly from the front:

The similarities end of course once you look at them from the sides or the back, as the Jupiter II is a flying saucer but the Asp has fins and engines and such. Still, from the front they look similar, and I have to wonder if that's a pure accident or if Frontier intended it in some fashion.

Anyone else think this too, or am I just going space happy?

I've always thought the AspX reminded me a bit of the Narcissus, from Alien, with a hint of Cheyenne UD-4L Dropship, from Aliens, around the cockpit... sort of, at least.

Thargoid sprouts remind more of the Jupiter II than the Asp does.
