Does the elite dangerous IOS app work for someone ?

They posted that the most recent server update before the holidays was supposed to fix it, but I've only seen one person who said it fixed it for them, and a ton of posts in the thread for that patch saying it is still not working. I'm in the "still not working" camp, so hopefully it will get fixed in a server patch after they return to the office.

I can't get the iOS app to work either. I usually use very complex passwords and thought that the iOS had a restriction on password limit so I simplified mine and still will not log me in. Uninstalling the app and reinstalling so it would send an email token again did not resolve the issue either.
For those that have gotten it to work, is there anything that you've done to get it to work? Waited a certain number of days from initial account creation? Or do you have a password of specific length? Are you using your email or your commander name?
