im asking because i want to know the answer.... thanks tho, for not providing it.Are you asking because you have a psvr set? If that's the case then all you need to do is try it, if it works (or does not) then you'll have your answer & confirmation of it.
I suspect it won't work however.
thanks! No, VR is not supported on PS.
yeah the psvr just made me want a better headset...Would quite unlikely to be a very enjoyable experience due to the low resolution of the PSVR, though (especially given how much information is visible in the cockpit).
The PSVR2 would be a rather different story. But alas, it's not even out yet, and extraordinarily unlikely the devs will implement any sort of support.
I have tried ED with my Oculus Rift S, which has a vertical resolution of 1440p (which is a quite significant improvement over 1080p), and all the cockpit text is barely legible, in some cases borderline illegible.yeah the psvr just made me want a better headset...
but when i set my hmd to 1920x1080 the text is all still legible so it would be workable.
if it doesnt use it tho, thats irrelevant i suppose lol.
i played it for a while on an hp 1440, and it was very functional.I have tried ED with my Oculus Rift S, which has a vertical resolution of 1440p (which is a quite significant improvement over 1080p), and all the cockpit text is barely legible, in some cases borderline illegible.
The PSVR2 has a vertical resolution of 2040p, which would be a huge improvement.
