Newcomer / Intro Does upgrading thrusters increase speed / manuverability?

In this game, it seems that the only thing that upgrading thrusters does not increase combat capabilities at all... based on the nubmers I see, it seems to only increase your ship's mass tonnage.

UPgraded my cobra, feels like it has a higher turning rate. What also would make sense.

I believe so, considering upgrading thruster allows for more tonnage on your ship, it in a sense makes your ship lighter, hence improving turning rate.

Before I upgraded my thrusters on my Viper, I was at nearly max tonnage and couldn't even out turn an ASP. Now, I just dance around it.

Good to know MrGambler, my Viper is fast, but the turn rate is painful without upgraded thrusters.

Haha, so many hidden stats in this game... there really needs to be more numbers and measurements on the display, when looking at components, etc.
