The Gear VR is a great product, and does a good job. And the field of view is decent.
But I've looked at side by side YouTube videos of Elite: Dangerous with the Gear VR, just to get a sample, and it was neat but didn't blow me away.
How do the high-end headsets compare to watching pre-recorded videos of Elite on a Samsung Gear VR? Cause $800 is a heck of a lot of money.
