Last night my mum gave my Jack Russell, Fudge, a treat stick. Naturally, Fudge spent all night finding places in my room to Bury said treat, and has continued to do this until just before I started writing this post.

Naturally, when Fudge found my slippers, she put the treat on top of them and actually started to eat it.

Dog brains must be fun.

Dogs have a natural inclination to bury food if they're not hungry so they can eat it later. Think of the ground as a gigantic dog fridge, only without the cooling system.

Speaking of dogs, I can't believe this came second.

I have to share my humans affections with a Yorkshire Terrier and she has the stomach the size of an average mouse. So she is constantly hiding nice food all over the place and practically bites my face off; if I as much as look in the direction of any of her hidden treasures. She seems to do this all day until after diner; which she then decides which is the best option. Today's dinner or the hidden treats.

No treats for Fudge tonight. Instead she gets snuggles. Still stealing my pillows.
