You seemed to have real trouble taking his shields down, what sort of gimballed lasers were you using, I know he was Elite but "touch wood" I have never had that much hassle knocking the shields of a ship down.

I think they're class I or II gimballed beam lasers. Not sure though. Everything else on that Viper is stock.
I enjoy the long fights with AI, PvP is another story of course.

If he had been using lasers instead of unguided missiles, I'm sure I would have been in a World of pain. ;)
