Dogfighting with VR is awesome!

Just had my first dogfighting session with the Oculus Rift DK2 and an Eagle, and I just felt like saying that it was fantastic!!

Up until now I've mostly done mining and exploring in a Sidey and Cobra and that's pretty nice in VR as well. But it is nothing compared to blasting away criminals at a Nav beacon with an Eagle! =D

I absolutely agree. I had the chance to play ED with Oculus DK2 on the premiere in Cambridge... awesome!

Given the right ship, you no longer look at the radar to see where they went; you turn your head and watch them. :)

Dog fighting is very nice in the oculus, and I've flinched a few times when a cobra decided to park on my canopy or the shockwave of an exploding ship burst right next to me.
