Hey guys,

So maybe this is a bit of a stretch, it's a question to all the Frontier staff on this forum... is anyone still here who worked on Dog's Life? The game released in 2003 and... well... the ending is "a bit dark".

If there's anyone still at Frontier who worked on the game... whose idea was that ending?! Was it the publisher that asked you to do it like that, or did someone on the team really suggest it? It's a bit disturbing, and sure, it's from 13 years ago, but still​.

It's not that bad. I mean, Beethoven, the villain wanted to shoot the dog in the head. This is just that taken to a more fantasy level of disturbed.

I don't think the ending is really that bad in my opinion. You don't see anything that could make this game for a more adult audience.
It's good, something a little different, and was done in a humorous way.

But I'm glad you posted this because I absolutely loved this game but never got to the end for some reason. The last place I remember reaching was that snowy mountain place.
