General / Off-Topic Doh! Got my HOTAS early.

I got home from work and saw my birthday present X-55 Rhino waiting for me. I don't think I'll be able to let it sit for 2 more days untouched. I wonder if it's cheating if I just put it together, then set the bindings, and then test it for a few hours.

No not cheating by the time you have it bound and make a backup it will be the happy day and you can relax and enjoy it.

Sweet, Elite picked it up automatically and it's all good to go. I might change a few of the bindings but at least it's functional for 2 days worth of "Testing" now.
