Doing missions for Empire. Where to start?

Hey folks,

I was curious as to where to start if one wants to start doing missions and such for empire? Also, how do you know the missions that you are given are from empire, because I never know who the mission belongs to. So, where can I find empire systems and how would I go about doing their missions? Thanks in advance !

On the galactic map there is a section that allows you to click on and off different types of planets - Fed owned; Empire; alliance; etc.

I moved to the Empire the other day to start my campaign of terror ... Yes, down with the Empire!

go for systems near achenar (50Ly around) and combine trading with missions - this will get you fast to allied

I am in LHS3447 atm, for some reason Empire is incredibly far away. Also, Achenar it says I have no permit to go there. Are most systems that show as red dots on the map empire, or does that mean I am unable to travel there? So being in LHS3447, where would be the best place for me to start the career in empire?

I've been meaning to claim owed bounty in the Empire but it's not like you can easily see where its nearest outpost is, or is there ? In the galaxy map I've tried turning off everything but Empire, but end up not being able to see the system dots . The best idea I came up with was to look at the "Rare commodites thread" https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=63119 and searching for the nearest Empire system listed in one of the distance spreadsheets.

I reckon get yourself to an Empire world and there'll be missions for them there, you probably won't find them in Federation controlled space !

Go to the Ajoku system and continue down vertically until you hit a black hole and be gone forever
jk, if you spawned in LHS 3447 or LTT 15499 then Liaedin is an amazing spot to start, its close to alot of other factions so you can help the empire expand.

last question I have, so if I do USS in empire system and kill npcs that have bounties, do I also get better standings with empire or do I have to do regular missions available in stations?
